Jahraus-K9 strives to produce German Shepherds that are not only physically fit but also have outstanding temperaments. Ron Yearout, whose name is “Jahraus” in German, owns Jahraus-K9. Ron became involved in dog breeding after noticing the admiration his own German Shepherd dogs, Raska and Jena, received. People would always remark on the dogs’ impressive looks and excellent behavior, and how they wanted a dog “just like Raska or Jena.” Ron decided he would start a professional breeding service so that people would be able to act on that desire.
When breeding his German Shepherds, Ron stresses conscientiousness. His biggest priority as a breeder is producing the best puppies possible. Creating new lives with sterling physical and personal characteristics requires the utmost responsibility.
Ron takes that responsibility seriously. Puppy development at Jahraus-K9 is carefully planned and monitored as it is essential to the well-being of a puppy. It also affects the long-term growth and development of a dog. Because of this, no expenses are spared on maternity care, maternity and whelping kennels, nutrition or any other aspect of our German Shepherds’ health or welfare. Veterinary care is also extremely important to ensure the dogs currently are and remain in good health. All Jahraus-K9 dogs and puppies regularly visit the vet, and vaccinations are up-to-date.
All this care pays off. Jahraus-K9’s first litter, born on March 14, 2009 to Sheriff and Jena, reflects the careful selection of parents and the attention given to our puppies. They are solid black and have an exceptional combination of proper size, strong bones and powerful head type. They are extremely hard-working, motivated and self-confident. The A-Litter exemplifies the high quality of German Shepherds you can expect from Jahraus-K9.
